Standard Roll Coaters

The latest WALCO Precision Roll Coaters are the result of over 50 years of engineering for simple and reliable operation. These coaters are designed for a variety of different applications including: Glue Spreading, Clear Top Coating, Color Coating, Painting, Oil Coating, Reverse Coating, and more. Coating materials of almost any make up can be applied to a wide variety of stock. Precision adjustments allow exact metering of the coating liquid for uniform coating, saving time and money. The versatility of the WALCO coater is proven by the thousands of machines in use all over the world.

The roll opening is adjustable take any thickness of stock from .001" to 1.5" (Special wide opening coaters are available). The coating liquid is poured into the reservoir formed by the coating roll and the doctor roll. By adjusting the doctor roll away from the coating roll, the thickness of the coating liquid is regulated.

There are two standard coater versions available:

The 60 series is a floor model on a steel base that can be equipped with casters.

The 67 series Coaters are heavy duty models with larger rolls and other components for higher production rates.

Warning: Any machine with rollers can be dangerous. It is important that all safety and operating instructions are read throughly, and all safety guards and equipment are in position and maintained. Careful training of the operator is a must.
